For decades Rotary International, along with the hundreds of member clubs around the world, has dedicated time, money and effort to helping communities. Internationally this has resulted in our on-going efforts to eliminate polio.

Every year each club in District 5490 identifies ways that its members can be of service to their communities. This includes providing financial support for specific projects as well as club members working hand-in-hand with supported organizations.

Leadership is a many-faceted issue that has far reaching implications. To gain the best advantage of the leadership potential of Rotarians, Rotary offers a wide variety of leadership training programs. You might say that these leadership-training programs are Rotary’s way of leading by example.

Leadership is important to every organization. It is especially important to an organization such as Rotary because it is the leadership team, and the future leaders, that are responsible for keeping the mission.

  • Rotary per capita dues per half year during 2015-16 is $27:50
  • Apply for Matching Grants
  • Prepare IRS Tax Form 990


  • Conduct annual review of Club bylaws
  • Identify 2 participants to attend District Grants seminar in Sept/Oct.


  • Begin RYLA candidates selection
  • Send pledged funds for student registrations to RYLA
